This Privacy Policy describes how the Token Rewards Claim Chrome extension ("the Extension") handles user data.

1. Data We Collect

The Extension collects only the following minimal data, solely provided by the user:

• Wallet address: The public blockchain wallet address that the user voluntarily connects via their Web3 wallet (e.g. MetaMask, OKX Wallet). This is a public identifier on the blockchain and contains no personally identifiable information.

We do NOT collect:

• Personal identity information (name, email, phone number, etc.)
• Browsing history or web activity on chatgpt.com or any other site
• Page content, cookies, or any ChatGPT conversation data
• Financial information, passwords, or authentication credentials
• Location data or device identifiers

2. How We Use the Data

The wallet address is used exclusively to:

• Calculate and display the user's accumulated token reward balance
• Generate a cryptographic signature to authorize on-chain token reward claims

The wallet address is stored locally in the browser using Chrome's storage API and is transmitted only to our own backend API (api.openaitoken.org) for the purposes described above.

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share any user data with third parties. The wallet address is only sent to our own backend server and is never disclosed to any external parties.

4. Data Retention

The wallet address is stored locally on the user's device. Users can clear this data at any time by removing the Extension or clearing Chrome's extension storage.

5. Security

All communication between the Extension and our backend API is encrypted via HTTPS. The Extension does not request or store private keys, seed phrases, or any sensitive wallet credentials.

6. Children's Privacy

This Extension is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
